Qu’est-ce que la sophrologie ?

Elle peut être définie comme un entrainement du corps et du mental afin de développer bien-être et sérénité. Crée en 1960 par Alfonso Caycedo, un neurologue, la sophrologie permet de se libérer des tensions et de mieux se détendre tout en ayant une surcharge d’énergie. Effectivement, entouré de stress au quotidien dans une ère qui nous demande d’être actif à 100%, notre corps aussi bien que notre esprit réclame du repos. Ces exercices peuvent être pratiqués par les jeunes enfants et jeunes adultes, et les adultes. Attention, ce n’est pas de la médecine, mais est considéré comme un moyen pour se développer mentalement et corporellement.  

D’ailleurs, selon plusieurs études, les personnes pratiquant la sophrologie ne consultent pas aussi souvent leur médecin et 30% d’entre eux prennent moins de médicament (analgésique ou tranquillisant).

  • La respiration contrôlée: cette technique est la base de la sophrologie. Elle permet de régulariser le système nerveux et ainsi avoir un contrôle sur ses émotions.
Exercices de respiration :
  1. Il vous faudra respirer suivant la loi du 3 + 3 = 6. Inspirer par le nez durant 3 secondes tout en gonflant le ventre.
  2. Bloquez l’air pendant 3 secondes et expirez par la bouche pendant 6 secondes en rentrant le ventre.
  • La détente du corps par le relâchement musculaire: cette technique vous demandera de lâcher prise ce qui vous amènera entre l’état de veille et de sommeil qui est appelé l’état sophroliminal. 20 minutes de relâchement équivalent à 2 heures de sommeil.
  • La visualisation mentale: la visualisation d’images positives chasse les pensées négatives. Effectivement, le cerveau ne peut différencier l’imagination et le réel, et il se distance ainsi du mal-être du corps.
